How the lid releases, whether the piece is visible immediately or after a lifted layer, where the certificate sits, how the pouch is folded — all of it is decided with a physical prototype in hand, because none of it can be judged from a rendering.
For programmes with tiered recipients we prototype each tier, so the difference between the flagship and the entry piece is legible without being embarrassing to the person receiving the entry tier.
